We are filled with great pride and excitement as we can now announce that LOW-KI, known in the WWE as "KAVAL", has become the winner of NXT Season 2! It has taken 13 years of long hard work and sacrifice to reach this momentous occasion. Entering the finale, "THE WORLD WARRIOR" was joined by Alex Riley and Michael McGuillicutty. The final match would be a triple threat contest with the first elimination to follow. With victory in stomps reach, Riley shoved KAVAL off the top rope and pinned a fallen McGuillicutty. After the match, the anxiety grew as NXT MC, Matt Striker declared Alex Riley as the eliminated participant. This led to a final showdown of words between the two remaining finalists. Again, the winner of the contest will receive a Pay Per View match against a WWE Champion of their choice. As McGuillicutty berated and meanly overlooked KAVAL in his statements, the warrior came back with a humbly confident explanation of hard work and sacrifice.
With the entire season behind them, both men stood eagerly awaiting the final result. With the internet votes tallied, and the 8 Pro's decision, Albany New York erupted in celebration as "THE WORLD WARRIOR" KAVAL was declared the winner of NXT Season 2. Joined in celebration by his Pro's, LayCool, tearful exhiliration filled the ring. We are so very proud of our very own LOW-KI for this great achievement and the enormous success he has reached.

Associated Press; With such a whirlwind of activity throughout his career , we are happy to share some words directly from "The World Warrior" LOW-KI.
"I would like to thank all who take the time to read this. It has been an interesting year to say the least. Being injured and fighting back to be on top of my game has been some of the most difficult things I have ever had to face. But you have to turn every negative into a positive. I was able to survive and come back with clarity, something I didn't think I had before the injury. I came back to win my 5th career tournement. Became the first IWGP Jr Heavyweight champion of Puerto Rican heritage. Although I was unsuccessful, wrestled in the Tokyo Dome in Japan. And I joined World Wrestling Entertainment several days after. Personally these are great accomplishments. But I never considered them to be "MY" accomplishments. They have been the direct result of the people I have experienced, who have helped me engage my career and adapt to excel. I would like to express my sincere and deep appreciation to those in the following list below: |
